Start of school year
The time flies like a birds endless ... It is incredible, but already the twentieth time were opened the door of our school in order to welcome the experienced students, but also the new first-year ones. We look forward that the EGT family has enlarged again by 60 newcomers - freshmen.
After the ceremonial church service, on which the main preacher was one of the founders of EGT, pastor Mojmír Zúrik, the organ was played by his daughter, the famous organist and university teacher Anna Predmerská. Then the traditional meeting of the teachers and parents followed in the Town Cultural Center. Unfortunately, in the last years it is rather a meeting of the freshmen parents with the future teachers of their children. We regret that, because this is one of the forms, where the parents can ask the things what interest them and learn more about the functioning of our school.
A tradition of that first day became a Welcome Party of the freshmen organized by the school spiritual Jana Bosáková.
We wish - together with the principal Helena Pašiaková - a good, successful and enriching school year for all..

Začiatok školského roku
Čas letí ako vtáci nedozierni ... Je to neuveriteľné, ale už dvadsiatykrát sa otvorili brány našej školy, aby mohli privítať skúsenejších, ale aj nových žiakov prvého ročníka. Tešíme sa, že rodina EGT sa opäť rozrástla o 60 nováčikov - prvákov.
Po slávnostných Bohoslužbách, na ktorých bol hlavným kazateľom jeden zo zakladateľov školy pán farár Mojmír Zúrik a na organe hrala jeho dcéra, známa organistka a vysokoškolská pedagogička Anna Predmerská, nasledovalo v MsKS tradičné stretnutie pedagógov a rodičov. Žiaľ, v posledných rokoch je to skôr stretnutie prváckych rodičov s budúcimi učiteľmi ich detí. Mrzí nás to, lebo aj toto je jedna z foriem, keď sa rodičia môžu pýtať na to, čo ich zaujíma a informovať sa o fungovaní školy.
Tradíciou tohto prvého dňa sa stal už aj zoznamovací večierok žiakov prvého ročníka pod taktovkou školskej spirituálky Jany Bosákovej.
Zaželajme si, spolu s riaditeľkou školy Helenou Pašiakovou, aby to bol dobrý, úspešný a všetkých obohacujúci školský rok a aby hlavným cieľom všetkých študentov bolo získavanie nových poznatkov a vedomostí.
